TYPES OF CUT

There are three types of cut in the production of sawn wood:

Rift cut:

This type is only used by small sawmills - or by larger mills as a preliminary cut. However, the surface of the wood is rough.

Band saw cut:

The advantage of the band saw technique is its finer surface cut.

Chipper cut:

Offers the best and most accurate cut with a faster production time.
