THE COMPANY HISTORY

We are a traditional wood exporting company, which mainly deals in the export of sawn softwoods to the Middle East.

• The family company was established in 1946 by Alfred Vesely senior.

• After his retirement in 1991, the current owner, Alfred Vesely II – after working at his parents' company for 13 years – obtained his commercial licence and is now overseeing the expansion.

• The next generation – Alfred Vesely III – is already at the starting blocks.

The company is today one of the leading suppliers of sawn softwood to the Middle East and North and Eastern African countries. Markets in other countries are, of course, also being developed.

In 2004, we were one of the first companies to win the Austrian Export Award.
